The Sports Hall of Fame was established to recognise the achievement of Greater Shepparton sports people who have made a significant contribution to their sport at the Australian representative level. The aim of the Greater Shepparton Sports Hall of Fame is to preserve, celebrate and showcase the history and heritage of sports excellence and achievement of Greater Shepparton residents.
The Committee will consist of 10 members for a 2-year term, and will include:
- 1 Valley Sport representative
- 4 Council representatives
- Up to 5 community members
If you have a passion for maintaining the history of sport and recreation in our region, please consider applying for a spot on the committee. Nominations for appointment to the committee are open until 31 January 2020.
