We are proud to welcome Jess Petreski to the team in her new role as an Inclusion Coach, employed by Leisure Networks and delivered in partnership with Sport4All as part of the All-Abilities Workforce and Sector Support Program (AAWSSP), funded by Sport & Recreation Victoria.
Based at the Valley Sport office in Shepparton, Jess will support clubs, schools, and community organisations across the Moira, Benalla, Mansfield, Strathbogie, Mitchell, Murrindindi, and Greater Shepparton shires to improve access and participation for people with disability in sport and active recreation.
“Sport should be something everyone can enjoy, no matter their ability,” said Jess. “I’m really looking forward to working with local communities to help break down barriers and create spaces where people with disability feel supported and empowered to get involved.”
Trained in the Sport4All and Learning & Development Hub programs, Jess will help deliver inclusive education and support local groups to identify opportunities, access resources, and develop inclusive practices.
Jess’s role will involve:
- Building meaningful relationships with people and groups across disability, community sport, and health sectors
- Supporting clubs and schools to create inclusive, welcoming environments
- Promoting free training, tools, and resources through the Sport4All Learning & Development Hub, created by Disability Sport & Recreation Victoria (DSR)
