We are thrilled to welcome Steph Gorrie to the Valley Sport team as our newest Project Officer, supporting clubs and communities across the Greater Shepparton and Mansfield shires.
Steph brings a wealth of experience from both the sport and disability sectors, with a deep commitment to fostering inclusive environments where everyone feels encouraged to get involved and stay active. Her passion lies in breaking down barriers and creating pathways for people with disabilities to participate in sport, through providing resources, education, and training to support accessible and inclusive opportunities.
On the court, Steph is a passionate netballer and coach. She plays for the Tatura Football Netball Club in the Goulburn Valley League and was appointed A-grade co-coach for the 2024 season. Under her leadership, Tatura made a historic finals appearance in 2023—the club’s first in 17 years. Steph has also represented the Goulburn Valley League in Netball Victoria competitions and was selected for the Victorian Netball League Open Squad in 2022.
Outside of work and sport, Steph enjoys spending time with friends, walking her dog, and staying active through regular exercise. Her holistic approach to well-being underscores her belief in the importance of community, inclusion, and physical activity for all.
