About
The Active Kids Grants through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), aims to assist clubs and organisations to support and encourage young Australians, to improve their physical and mental health by increasing their participation in sport.
The grant program focuses on volunteer run grassroots and community clubs with young members aged under 20.
Funding Available
Grants are for the provision of sports equipment and on-field uniforms supplied by the ASF’s partners HART Sport and ISC. No cash grants are available in the 2023 Active Kids grant round.
There is no maximum grant value you can apply for in this grant round.
However, because there is a limited pool of funds available and the objective is to help as many clubs in need as possible, applicants must only apply for what they NEED, not everything they WANT.
As a guide, the average grant value awarded in the last two Active Kids grant rounds was between $3,500 and $4,500.
