Valley Sport Workshop Terms and Conditions
Valley Sport are committed to supporting and growing sport and recreation in the Goulburn Valley. Part of our commitment is delivering a number of educational courses for local clubs and their members. To ensure the highest quality of training, Valley Sport may charge a fee for some of the courses that are delivered. Any course, workshop or training session which requires a fee will be subject to the below terms and conditions.
Prices
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed once paid for in full by you. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur due to matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service.
Payment
Valley Sport delivered workshops and courses require online registration and payment through our booking system. In order to pay you are required to have credit or debit card details to successfully register yourself. It is the participants responsibility to organise this and register themselves.
If you cannot secure a credit or debit card, or a club wishes to pay in advance on behalf of their participants then an invoice will be created and provided by Valley Sport at an additional cost of $20 per invoice.

All payments need to be completed and received prior to the commencement of the course, failure to do so will result in you being unable to attend or receive certification.
Cancellation of a course by Valley Sport
Valley Sport reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses and workshops scheduled to be delivered. Valley Sport commit to informing participants, providing them with as much notice as practically possible. Participants who have their course cancelled by Valley Sport will have their workshop payment refunded.
Cancellation of attendance by a participant
Valley Sport understand that circumstances change and people may no longer be able to attend a course or workshop that they had registered for. Participants who provide 48 hours or more notice of cancelation will be refunded their booking fee, minus a $10 booking and administration fee. Participants who provide less than 48 hours notice of cancellation will be refunded 50% of their booking fee. Participants who fail to attend a course or workshop without notifying Valley Sport will forfeit the entirety of their booking fee.
Notifying Valley Sport of a booking cancellation:
To notify Valley Sport of a booking cancellation, participants are asked to contact the Valley Sport Office and speak to a staff member via phone, (03) 5831 8456 or confirming their withdrawal from a course by emailing info@valleysport.net.au.
Health
Some workshops may require participants to be physically active, eg. coaching courses, First Aid Training. It is the participant’s responsibility to notify Valley Sport prior to the course date of any health conditions which may restrict them in any way so that we may modify activities to ensure inclusion for all.
Disability
A number of Valley Sport workshops and courses require practical and theory based tests and assessments in order to gain qualification. Participants are required to notify Valley Sport prior to the course date of any disability or learning difficulty which may restrict their learning. Valley Sport support opportunity for all, and will work with the participant to provide suitable or modified learning options where possible.
Certificates and qualifications
Some Valley Sport delivered courses will provide participants with certificates and materials which may carry their name and personal details. Participants are asked to take extra care when filling out forms to ensure that clear, legible writing is provided. Misspelling of names and addresses may lead to certificates being void and Valley Sport reserve the right to provide reprints at an extra cost to the participant.
