This course is comprised of several learning and assessment activities including:

  1. Pre-course online learning, comprising approximately 6-8 hours self-paced learning:
  • Level 1 Sports Trainer Theory (8 modules)
  • Safer Sport: Infection control in a COVID-19 environment (1 module) 
  1. Two live and interactive online classes (2.5 hours each)
  2. One face to face class, including your practical assessment (3 hours)
  3. A final online written assessment (issued once all other components have been completed)

Self-paced online learning must be completed prior to attending your first online class.

    • Tuesday 30th November (6:00pm – 9:00pm)
  • Virtual Class 2:
    • Thursday 2nd December (6:00pm – 9:00pm)
  • Practical Session:
    • Saturday 4th December (9:00am – 12:00pm)

This is an advanced taping course covers taping techniques for the knee, shoulder, elbow and achilles. The course also covers basic anatomy.

The course is delivered over 4 hours and involves a combination of theoretical and practical instruction.

Students will be assessed as follows:

  • Presenter observation and practical assessment
